SAY Security Group USA Announces Major Software Upgrades

Ohio, USA, September 26, 2005 - SAY Security Group USA is proud to announce that it has reached an agreement to give SAY full access to the Source Code of the Kodicom DVR product line.  SAY Security has made volume commitments in line with their rapidly expanding dealer network.  SAY has been distributing the Kodicom Product in the Americas longer than any other Kodicom distributor.  This agreement will allow SAY to better meet the market needs of its OEM and Dealer network. 

As a result of this agreement, SAY will first be developing a biometric user management database to fulfill a contract with a US Government Agency.  The user management system will allow for unlimited user name and passwords on the Digital Video Recorder.  A Point of Sale module is currently in its final stages of development and testing.  Release estimates are scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2005.

SAY Security USA has also been developing a proprietary operating system, code named XOS, that will be compatible with the current DVR System.  XOS will be a real time operating system that runs on an embedded memory inside the DVR.  The XOS will be very similar to embedded Linux with all the features of a PC Based DVR System.  Improvements include faster boot up times, virus resistant operation, self healing repair, automatic updates and more.

Brandon Miller, Chief Technical Officer, is very pleased with the progress of the software development.  “We have been working on the improvements for more than one year.  We believe that the additions we have made will increase the ability of our OEM’s and Dealers to sell more product.” says Miller.  The twelve man software team is currently busy planning additional value added improvements to the software.  “We are working with a handful of access control companies to integrate with their card access systems.  This will give our integration partners additional saleable features for their customers.”
