SAY Security Group USA Announces New Software Version Release

Ohio, USA, July 6, 2006

SAY Security Group USA is on the verge of releasing its latest version of DVR software.

The following list covers the major changes and upgrades that will be available in Digital Video Witness v5.0

•Updated Driver Set
     Updated drivers improve camera response and allow more hardware than ever before.

•Updated User Interface
     New and improved look gives you a more welcome feel as you browse our software.

• Unlimited User Names and Passwords
     A User Management system has been implemented which allows for multiple user accounts on each system. Each account may have unique security settings and camera permissions allowing a fine-grained level of access control.

• Web DVR Upgrades (Web Browser Interface)
     User management has been fully integrated into the web browser interface while still maintaining the same light-weight feel of a web application.

• Log Important System Changes
     A "View Log" tab has been added to the setup menu. This tab will allow users, who have the proper authorization, to view the system log and determine what action(s) were performed on what date(s) and by what user(s).

• Save Space with a Virtual Keyboard
     Virtual keyboard functionality has been added to all screens where alphanumeric user input is required. This allows for machines that operate only with a mouse or some other type of navigational device such as a joystick.

• User-Friendly Client
     Password verification is no longer required upon startup of the client software. Users may now simply start the client software on the machine that they are using.

• Point of Sale Interface
          • Text Overlay
               Cash register information can be overlaid on top of live video to enhance video credibility.
          • Searchable POS Database
               Easily search and track orders made through connected cash registers.

• Quick CD Burn (for faster video Backups)
     Optimized video backup increases backup speed without losing video quality.

• Change IP Address within the DVR Server Program
     Users may now change the IP address of their machine from within our software. This insures that the DVR will be recording all camera action while the machine is running.

• Camera Names are Viewable in Search and Backup Screens
     Once a user has named a camera in the “Hardware Setup” tab that camera name will be displayed in all locations where the user may reference the camera. (ie. Search Screen, Backup Menu…)

• Online Help
     There is an online assistance button on the main screen of the program. This button will launch the user’s internet browser and direct them to www.saysecurity.com/help where they will find a frequently asked questions page along with other valuable resources to correct any issues that they may be experiencing.

• Quick Help Manual
     Digital help documentation has been added to all pertinent screens. A hard copy of the manual is no longer required for assistance. Users may simply click on the help button located within the current screen to view the manual. If the user wishes they may print a hard copy of the topic which they are viewing from the menu in the help viewer.

• Software Key Protection
     All software must now be activated with our company. This gives the security of knowing that you are the only customer using your unique key.

• Several PTZ Protocols Added (Pelco P)
     Increased camera support gives you the option of picking the camera the best fits your needs.

• Added Support for Embedded XP operating System (can be purchased from SAY)

• Bug Fixes since Version 4.1.3
     All known bugs and software glitches have been resolved.
