ADA, OHIO – SAY Security Group USA welcomes a new product, ROAD GUARD. “ROAD GUARD” is a lane departure warning system which continually monitors the position of the vehicle in relation to lane markings through a camera mounted behind the rear view mirror. If identifiable lines on either side of the driving lane are driven over or crossed, the “ROAD GUARD” system will detect this deviation, then give a warning sound and a voice announcement.
The audible message can alert a “drowsy” or “inattentive” driver to the possibility of a fatal head on collision thus saving many lives on our roads.
The “ROAD GUARD” Lane Departure Warning System is a self contained detection, warning and recording system that is mounted to the front windscreen and can be installed by the user.
ROAD GUARD is also a recording device that can capture 10 separate videos. Each video is 12 seconds pre event and 6 seconds post event. This can be used to prove “at fault” in an accident or for driver management training, etc.
WHO SHOULD USE “ROADSCOPE” The bottom line is anyone who drives the Highways and Freeways, every truck, every fleet owner and anyone who wants to stay safe and protect lives.

NHTSA, National Highway Traffic Statistics Agency of Unites States announces its annual report on highway traffic accident statistics. The report tells, in sum, lane departure accident is the single largest factor and claims more than 40 % of total traffic fatality. More research shows the tendency that the percentage of lane departure fatality rises up year by year, that is, more and more drivers get threatened by unintended lane departure accidents.
