Through the teamwork of SAY Security and ISONAS, customers will finally have the ability to both control access to a given location and monitor individuals coming and going from said location. Using SAY’s digital cameras and DVRs, customers will be able to keep a digital video record of each person as that activates ISONAS’ IP-based access control devices. This digital video record provides an on-screen text record of the name of the individual accessing a particular location, the name of that location, the individual’s employee number, the time of access, as well as other user-defined variables.

While the integration of digital video surveillance with access control may seem like an expensive and complicated system to install, it is quite the opposite. ISONAS’ IP-based access control is powered over Ethernet, eliminating complex wiring problems. Additionally, ISONAS’ components connect directly to SAY’s DVRs while operating in standalone mode, meaning that access could still be controlled in the event the DVR went offline. And even being such a sophisticated integration, ISONAS’ software plugs directly into the software packaged on SAY’s DVRs, providing users with a seamless combination of both applications.
