Guys,
I have a dell desktop running windows XP and I would like to connect my XR4 to the PC and the instructions that come with the unit are difficult to understand...could someone point a non-IT guy in the right direction...I have the DVR cabled to the PC with a crossover CAT5.

I'll try to minimize the technicalties but can't get rid of them:

a) Setup your PC to
IP: 192.168.0.10
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1

b) On the MDVR side, go to NETWORK==>Local IP and set it to:
IP: 192.168.0.100
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1

c) On the MDVR side, go to Network==> RMS Port, and set it to:
8080

d) Open MWA and add a new MDVR, name it "SAMPLE", IP Address: 192.168.0.100; Port: 8080

1) Serial number of your MDVR
2) Exact version number of your MWA copy (Go to MWA==>Help==> About to get it)
