Procedure to DOWNGRADE firmware on our H.264 based MDVRS is:

a) Get the official firmware version (the one you want to use to downgrade).
b) Copy the file into the \DVRUpgrade folder, in your USB drive.
c) Rename the file, for example:
Original name: x03_rm4_V000004V000004V000010V000024.sw
Downgrading name: x03_rm4_V000004V000004V000013T032635.sw
d) Insert it into the MDVR's USB port
e) Go to SETUP==>System Settings==>Upgrade
f) Select Firmware and Apply.
Wait for the firmware to be taken and downgraded.
g) After downgrading, you MUST re-configure your MDVR
g.1 Go to SETUP==>System Settings==>Config
g.2 Select RESTORE / DEFAULT
h) Walk through the settings on the GUI, making sure the MDVR is setup to record the way you want.
